Mourne Private Clinic invited guests, medical and business colleagues to join a special launch even this week t to celebrate the opening of the new private health hub in Newry City.
Speaking to guests at the event, Clinic Director Lisa Hughes, said that Mourne Private Clinic had long been a professional aspiration.
A radiographer with the NHS, Lisa went into private practice in 2016, with Mourne Scan Clinic, which today offers a range of Ultrasound services, Genetic Testing and Cancer Gene Screening.
The Clinic centralised its services in Newry in 2016 and the Scan Clinic’s continued growth highlighted for Lisa the demand for private high quality, independent health services.
The launch of Mourne Private Clinic, at Bridge Street, Newry is the realisation of that ambition following significant investment circa £400k. The new private clinic generated ten new roles, with 20+ expected to be employed by the end of the year.
Lisa explains: “It is our goal to be the premier destination for independent health care services in the region. We have a singular focus on delivering exceptional patient care, timely results- with Xray reports within the hour – and the highest levels of professional care, supported by state-of-the-art technology and equipment.”
Mourne Private Clinic brings together a range of diagnostic services in a private, discreet setting. The 3300 sq. ft building, houses eight clinical rooms and a number of tasteful decorated reception and meeting areas, designed by Catherine McMillan Interiors.
In a regional first for the City, Mourne Private Clinic offers a Dexa (bone density) Scanner and X Ray Suite (through Mourne Scan Clinic); in addition to Private Blood Tests, Physiotherapy; Pelvic Health Services, Dietician, CBT Counselling, delivered through carefully selected partners.
