Newry Mourne and Down District Council’s spooky and spectacular Hallowtides event will take place on Wednesday 31st October in Newcastle.
Take part in the fancy dress competition, listen to Q Breakfast’s Stephen and Cate who will be entertaining the crowds with great music and give-aways from the festival stage. The ever-popular float parade will depart from the Slieve Donard Resort and Spa at 7pm and the event will finish with a spectacular fireworks display on the beach at 7:45pm.
The Newcastle Chamber of Commerce is again taking the helm in the organisation of the parade – this year’s floats features a range of participants from the local area, including schools, pipe bands, community groups and clubs, all eager to win the great prizes on offer.

The pinnacle of the event is no doubt the show stopping fireworks display which makes the skies come alive; these will be launched from the beach on South Promenade at approximately 7:45pm on Wednesday 31 October.
