MAC PR was tasked with coordinating and hosting two events for Newry Mourne Down Labour Market Partnership – part of NMD Business (Newry, Mourne and Down District Council), with a lead time of 8 weeks to deliver.
The industry focus for these particular events was 1. Engineering and 2. Hospitality & Tourism. The target audience was comprised of school leavers, job seekers, job changers, returners and other industry colleagues.
As part of the project MAC PR designed and issued invites; collated attendee registration; booked and briefed a photographer; created social media collateral; wrote and issued pre and post event press releases; identified and secured up to 6 potential speakers; confirmed venue and AV requirements; connected with key stakeholders and education providers. On the day, Catherine McGinn was the host and chaired a panel discussion and audience Q&A. Post event evaluations were circulated to all attendees. MAC PR followed up with speakers and stakeholders to share press material and professional images, and tagged the businesses on post-event social posts to capitalise on the PR generated from the event.
