MAC PR planned and executed a unique event to give Buttercrane Shopping Centre ‘stand out’ at Christmas; a Guinness World Record for the World’s Largest Gathering of People Dressed as Snowman. The event achieved significant national and local pre and post event publicity. It generated £42,000 in offline PR coverage reaching 430,000+ people. Best Property Services wanted to mark 30 years in business with a high profile event. The business breakfast with David Meade was very successful and achieved significant national and local coverage in addition to connecting Best Property Services with 200 local businesses owners, contacts and clients. The event was deemed so successful, it’s become part of a series of Best Business Breakfasts and is repeated annually.
SPECSAVERS NEWRY 10TH BIRTHDAY
Specsavers wanted to mark 10 years serving customers in Newry with a weekend of Birthday celebrations. MAC PR coordinated a special appearance with Brian Kennedy; an ‘eye catching’ birthday cake; a flash fashion show showcasing new designer frames; fashion blogger coverage; in addition to customer competitions and children’s entertainment. Some £25k in press coverage was generated and social reach of 40k. In addition, local press ads were coordinated, a radio ad written and aired and a feature in Local Women magazine agreed.
