PRESS RELEASE Tuesday, 11 May 2010 BUSINESS WOMEN’S NETWORK DELIVERS MAY WORKSHOPS Next week the Enterprising Women’s Network for business women is hosting a series of business workshops sponsored by Reality Training. The event is aimed at inspiring growth and enabling business women to connect and learn from other women in business across the Armagh and Down region. The Enterprising Women’s Network is a member of Business Women’s Networks NI which is supported by Invest NI. Hosted in the WIN Conference Centre, 20th May (7.30-9.30pm) this event taps into the skills of two experienced business women to deliver interactive workshops on the subject of ‘Accelerated Learning’ and ‘Becoming a Successful Networker’. The Accelerated Learning workshop is a fast paced practical session designed to help you address a current business issue or personal challenge and will be facilitated by Anne Dargan, Rapid Change Consultancy. Anne is an experienced business-woman and a professional leadership coach with over 25 years experience within a large global telecomm organisation. The second workshop will help business women to gain networking confidence and use networking tools to improve their business. Networking is an essential business tool and key personal skill. Newry and Mourne Enterprise Agency Commercial Property Manager Jennifer Malone will facilitate this practical workshop offering tips, advice and best practice case studies. Jennifer has been a member of the Business Support team for over 27 years and is a Member of the Institute of Business Advisors. EWN Coordinator Margaret Andrews says: “We’ve responded to our members interest in training in these areas so we’re encouraging our members, guests and even non members to get involved in this event where you will be supported, challenged and inspired through working with other talented business women.”Members will have the opportunity to attend both workshops on the evening.
